The WalkAide is a battery operated, single channel electrical stimulator that can be used to address foot drop with functional electrical stimulation.
WalkAide utilises a Tilt Sensor to control stimulation during normal gait which is programmed by the clinician using WalkAide software.
Indications – Cerebrovascular accident, incomplete spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy.
Contraindications – Heart disease, epilepsy, recent surgery.
